For operators who are looking to increase their distribution area or trying to streamline an existing operation in outlying markets, the Demountable Truck Body System can be expanded to address these requirements. The TruckTainer Warehouse on Wheels System ™ allows multiple Demountable Bodies to be shuttled from a centralized distribution center to outlying markets.

At the heart of this system is a specially designed semi-trailer that can haul up to four demountable bodies at one time. Once the trailer reaches the outlying market, the loaded bodies are demounted from the trailer. The line haul driver mounts empty bodies from the previous day and returns to the distribution center. Locally domiciled drivers mount individual bodies and begin their delivery routes.

Customers have been able to close regional warehouses, cross-dock facilities as well as open new markets with minimum expense. Having one power unit moving multiple bodies versus individual straight trucks driving the long distances also reduces fuel costs.
