Industry veteran, Joe Palencar has re-entered the wholesale business with the grand opening of Wholesale Millwork, based in York, PA. Having learned the industry from the ground up at his previous company, Palencar was in a position to hit the ground running. One thing Palencar was sure of, his delivery fleet would include the demountable truck body system by Demountable Concepts.

The system, used by many millwork distributors and wholesalers, allows companies to greatly increase their fleet efficiency. The demountable truck body system allows each straight truck to use multiple, interchangeable bodies. With two bodies for each delivery truck, warehouse personnel can load tomorrow’s deliveries on a free-standing body during normal business hours. They no longer have to wait for the truck to return to being loading. Drivers are also more efficient; they simply swap their bodies at the end of the day for loaded ones and report to work the next day ready to begin delivering product.

The decision to implement the system was an easy one, Palencar explains, “Why I’m using demounts”.
