TruckTainer Chassis Lift The TruckTainer Chassis Lift enables the operator to simply and safely transfer bodies onto and off of any standard straight truck chassis. Designed for durability and ease-of-use, the TruckTainer Chassis Lift will provide many years of trouble-free, reliable service. The simple and refined design of the Chassis Lift makes transferring bodies a job well within the capability of the average driver. Simple and Safe Controls Simple hydraulic controls require no manual operation and make lifting the heaviest loads easy. A one-step locking system makes locking a body to the truck chassis safe. Centrally located controls enable the driver to perform all lifting and locking operations from one location on the driver's side of the vehicle. Time-tested, over-center locking hooks ensure that all bodies are positively locked to the truck chassis. Further safety is provided with a specially designed spring-loaded lock pin and padlock safety key, ensuring that the body is locked to the chassis at all times. As a final safety feature, a lock warning system alerts the driver if a body is not properly locked onto the vehicle. A cab-mounted warning light and buzzing alarm can be clearly seen and heard by the driver. Complete Installation To ensure customer satisfaction, Demountable Concepts provides complete road-ready installation of the TruckTainer Chassis Lift for all customers. A factory mounted Chassis Lift includes: ICC bumper, mud flaps, back-up alarm, after frame extensions (as needed), and relocation of fuel and air tanks (as needed). Customers located great distances from the installation plant can have the Chassis Lift installed by a regional authorized installation representative. Utilizing a Lift Gate For customers that require vehicles equipped with lift gates, an optional tuck-under lift gate is available. The tuck-under lift gate is simply mounted to the rear of the truck chassis in lieu of the standard ICC bumper. With only one lift gate required per truck chassis, each demountable body is outfitted with its own floor extension and stirrup steps. When in use with TruckTainer equipment, the tuck under lift gate functions exactly as it would on a standard fixed body truck. Proven Durability and Longevity The TruckTainer Chassis Lift is designed and manufactured to last over the life of several vehicles. As a complete assembly, the Chassis Lift need not be retired with the initial chassis. At the end of a truck's useful life, the lift system can be unbolted and remounted onto a new vehicle.
