TruckTainer Body Base Frames Demountable Concepts, Inc. is not a van body manufacturer, but will coordinate the implementation of a customer's needs to provide a finished, road-ready delivery fleet. Together with a national van body manufacturer, or working directly with a customer's local truck body builder of choice, Demountable Concepts will ensure that all aspects of your TruckTainer fleet are implemented properly and efficiently. All TruckTainer Demountable Body Base Frames are manufactured to the specifications required for each body type. Individually engineered for particular needs, TruckTainer Body Base Frames are manufactured for all body types, including van bodies, flatbeds, curtainside, refrigerated, and specials. Body lengths available range from 10' to 28' for body widths up to 102". A Complete Sub-Assembly TruckTainer Body Base Frames are used in lieu of a truck body builder's standard crossmembers and long sills. Constructed to the length and width required to meet the needs of the body builder, TruckTainer Body Base Frames are designed to be body builder friendly and require minimal custom work by the truck body manufacturer. Included in the Body Base Frame sub-assembly are two full length tapered guide rails that are designed to provide simple and safe alignment of the body to the Chassis Lift. This self-aligning guide system allows for a margin of error when mounting a demountable body. The specially designed tapered guide rails automatically position the body into the proper locking position, ensuring that the two rigid body locking bars match the over-center locking hooks on the Chassis Lift.
Fully Retractable Legs At the core of TruckTainer Body Base Frames are four rugged retractable legs that support the freestanding units. These near maintenance-free legs are designed for durability, longevity, and easy-of-use. Proven for over 30 years, TruckTainer Retractable Legs are fully braced and can withstand a 24,000 pound payload. The Retractable Legs can even compensate for uneven ground. The lower portion of the Retractable Leg telescopes in 2" increments to help keep the body standing level, While in transit, the Retractable Legs are stored out of sight between body crossmembers - away from any possible road hazards.
